Summer in the City has been taking place open air in the most beautiful places in Mainz for over 10 years:
The Bavarian brass rebels are back with a new album and a brilliant tour! With their unique blend of brass, pop, techno and ska, paired with Bavarian charm and a good dose of punk attitude, they have revolutionized brass music and thrilled an audience of millions.
The musicians recorded their 2014 album "Kiah Royal" in a cowshed. Guest musicians such as Christoph Well, Rocko Schamoni and Stephan Remmler were on board. Together with music journalist Jan Wehn, they published the book "Barefoot in Lederhosen around the World" in 2022, a mixture of illustrated book and biography that looks back on the band's travels to Marrakesh, Novosibirsk and the USA.
